Our Story

Our small stores started with a BIG IDEA: that taking safe and delicious food home to our families should be affordable.

BBQ Bob began in 2012 as a restaurant style dine-in brand in Davao. There, we served a wide range of delicious favorites and developed a group of loyal customers. While we enjoyed serving rice meals, sandwiches, and even BBQ wraps, we knew our star product range – just the BBQ without the frills – were simple, focused, and beloved.

In 2015, the team made a decision to bring the brand to Manila. While we temporarily closed stores in Davao to better focus the oversight of the stores, we vowed to return one day after we began Franchising. We transformed the brand into a take-out only format that fit perfectly with the fast-paced Manila lifestyle and we grew from 0 to 4 stores in 12 months. All the while, we perfected our systems to handle a new business model that we believed was scalable.

In 2020, BBQ Bob made the hallmark decision to Franchise. Years since the young brand’s birth, the systems and Brand strategy were sound, sustainable, and most importantly — the results were replicable.
